The people of Adamawa State yesterday said President Muhammadu Buhari has done them good for appointing Hajiya Halima Buba to be a Board member of Nigerian sovereign investment authority.
Thanking the president for considering one of their own in the whole of North East region for Such an appointment which has never been given to any person from Adamawa state,saying that the appointment has been only an individual from each geo-political zone is appointed for such a job.
A close ally of the appointee, Mr Bitrus Jebu Sohe describe the appointment as an honour as while a right decision the Buhari Government taken haven known Halima as a great woman who built her life on the pillars of integrity, hard working and philantrophical life style.
According to him Buba’s ingenuity will turn the board to another feat which will bring much revenue to the country haven been a seasoned banker with many years of experience to the position of regional manager of Oceanic Bank and voluntary retired.
Buba is a product of University of Maiduguri and red Business Administration to Masters degree level attended many banking seminars, workshop and symposiums on financial matters both home and abroad.
The Michika born woman who came from the Northern part of Adamawa State gives thanks to God and assured not to disappoints the President for appointing her.
