Adamawa Police Bolster Security with Stakeholders to Counter Planned Take-It-Back Movement Protest

In response to the planned protest by the Take-It-Back Movement, the Adamawa State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), convened a critical stakeholders’ security meeting on June 11, 2025, to strengthen collaborative efforts and ensure public safety across the state.

The meeting, themed “Strengthening Collaborative Security Efforts for a Safer Adamawa State,” brought together key security actors, including representatives from the 23 Brigade Yola, 153 Base Services Group, Department of State Services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Federal Road Safety Corps, and Nigeria Correctional Service.

 

The gathering underscored the importance of inter-agency synergy to maintain law and order.

He commended the unwavering support of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, noting that the governor’s commitment has been pivotal in sustaining peace in Adamawa State.

The Command reiterated the vital role of citizens in promoting peace and urged the public to support law enforcement efforts. To ensure public safety, operational assets will be deployed strategically across the state, demonstrating the Command’s dedication to protecting residents.
