Adamawa police Command arrests suspected Kidnappers, recovers AK47 rifles and ammunitions

ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER AND RECOVERY OF AK-47 RIFLE WITH 20 ROUNDS OF LIVE AMMUNITION’S

Following the frequent Area patrol in Girei and Song LGAs, Adamawa State Police command have on 5/7/2019 succeded in apprehending a 38 year old man Alhaji Ashiru Sule a resident Tambo,in Girei LGA ,a gang leader and a game planner to kidnapping activities.

The command equally recovered from the Suspect one AK-47 rifle with 17 rounds of lives ammunitions

Investigation into the matter so far reveals that the Said Suspect prior to his arrest coordinated several criminal activities ,Demanded and received ransum from their targets. Recently Suspect coordinated and threatened to kidnap his elderly brother or pay the sum of Five millions as ransum.

Meanwhile, the CP has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Adamawa for their resilience and urged them to support and cooperate with Police at all times and assured them of it’s commitment to protecting lives and properties.
