ADAMAWA POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS NOTORIOUS GROUP OF SYNDICATE ARMED ROBBERS

In a bid to rid the state of the constant notoriety of criminals, the Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 5 gang members of armed robbers who have constantly been robbing unsuspecting victims of their valuables along Savannah/Lafiya road in Lamurde Local Government Area in the state.

Those apprehended include; Shuaibu Suleiman, Adamu Abdu, Buba Umar, Ali Ibrahim and Adama Umar, a female, seveeral dangerous weapons such as recovered 2 locally made guns, cash, handsets, 6 cutlasses etc were recovered from them.

The Police Public Relation Officer(PPRO) of the command, DSP, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje revealed to newsmen in Yola that the suspects were nabbed in their hideout with a female following a tip off after their operation along the road.

DSP Yahaya Nguroje, said investigation is ongoing with a view to tracing and apprehending other suspects that have been terrorising innocent citizens.

He appealed to the general to continue supporting the command with relevant information so as to apprehend more criminals and to rid the state of bad eggs.
