The Commissioner of police Adamawa State CP SK Akandehas pledged the Command’ s readiness in tackling Kidnapping activities and other security challenges across the State.
The Commissioner issued this statement today, Thursday 7th
of July, 2022 at the police Headquarters Yola, while having an interaction with Divisional police officers, Operational commanders and their supervisory Area Commanders in preparation for the up coming Sallah celebration.
The Command’s public relations officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR in a statement said the police as the lead agency with statutorily mandate to ensure protection of people’s lives remained committed.
On the strength of that, the CP assured that the attackers of *Rev. Daniel Umaru* and his family members will be trace and brought to face the full wrath of the law.
The Cp lauded His excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his courage and immersed support towards what is right and good for the state, saying that he cherished working with him due to his unwavering commitment in providing the security agencies a conducive operational environment that guaranteed security of lives and property of residents of the State.
Against this backdrop, the CP charged officers and men to dwell more on intelligence gathering and called for the cooperation of the public to always volunteer useful information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the criminals in the state.
noting,that the command would continue to collaborate with other sister agencies in the state to effectively secure the State.
The CP further advice members of the public to desist from criminal activities, as anyone caught will be made to face the full weight of the law.
