The Adamawa State Police Command has achieved another milestone in its battle against crime with the arrest of Zephaniah Alfred, a 29-year-old suspected armed robber, in Zangun, Numan Local Government Area.

Already on the Command’s wanted list for terrorizing the Numan-Gombe Road and its environs, Alfred was apprehended following a complaint by Ibrahim Maikano, who reported receiving a death threat from the suspect.

Operatives from the Numan Divisional Police Headquarters, led by the Divisional Police Officer, swiftly executed a search warrant at Alfred’s residence.
The operation uncovered a cache of incriminating items, including a locally made pistol, AK-47 and pistol live rounds, a live cartridge, military camouflage uniforms, caps, T-shirts, and a black torchlight. All recovered items are now being treated as exhibits.
