The suspects faced charges ranging from armed robbery and kidnapping to rape and culpable homicide.
The prosecutions were a direct result of the command’s deliberate efforts to combat crime in the state
According to Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, the prosecutions were a direct result of the command’s deliberate efforts to combat crime in the state. These efforts included community policing, operational patrols, and swift response to distress calls.
CP Morris, who spoke at a year-end press briefing, reaffirmed his commitment to reducing crime in Adamawa, a promise he made when he assumed office in February 2024. The command’s achievements are a testament to the effectiveness of this approach and the dedication of the Adamawa State Police.
