Adamawa State police command has urged owner of a starlet car involved in a minor accident to come forward and collect his vehicle.
A statement by the image maker of the state police command, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje said the police recovered the car on December 15, 2021.
” The Adamawa State Police Command wishes to inform members of the general public that on the 15/12/2020 barely six months ago,the command recovered abandoned and unclaimed Toyota starlet with Reg. No. AG 836 JMT along Army barracks road, Yola North local government.
” The vehicle was said to have been abandoned by the driver haven involved in a minor motor accident and went into hiding only to escape arrest and since then he has not surface.
” On the strength of that, the commissioner of Police, ALIYU ADAMU ALHAJI, called on members of the public particularly who’s vehicle was stolen or missing to report to police Central Motor traffic Division (MTD) with original proof of ownership to identify and claim it.
” The CP further assured the command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property,” Nguroje said.
