The Nigeria Police, Adamawa state command police, has vowed to trail the abductors and rescue two men of God abducted by daredevil.

Armed men believed to be kidnappers in the wee hours of Wednesday around Nyibango, along barrack road in the state kidnapped two pastors without a trace of their where about.

commissioner of police Adamaws state command CP Afolabi Babatola stated this in a statement signed by the command spokesman, SP Suleman Yahaya Nugoroje while confirming that the two men of God Rev Mike Ochigbo and Pastor John Moses were kidnapped at various times in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

He stated that the Command’s anti kidnapping squad is at the trail of the abductors of the two men of God

Adding that the police will not leave any stone unturned until the two persons are rescued and abductors apprehended.

” CP Afolabi Babatola, has deployed operatives of the Command drawn from the Special Rapid Response Team (SRRT), Crack Squad and other Tactical Squads to carryout a tactical and intelligence – driven 24/7 operation on Criminal Hideouts and Black Spots to rescue the Kidnapped victims, Rev. Mike Ochigbo and Pastor John Moses, as well as arrest the suspects and their sponsors who move around disrupting the peace in the state,” he said.

The commissioner of police assured the people of the state adequate security before, during and after the swearing in of the governor on May 29, 2023.

The CP equally directed all Divisional Police Officers, Operational Commanders and their Supervisory Area Commanders to personally lead the operations in their respective Areas of responsibility (AOR) to ensure total domination of the public space and arrest trouble makers.

Nguroje stated that while re-emphasizing the firm determination of the Command in ensuring safety of lives and property, the CP solicits full cooperation from members of the public particularly Political leaders urging them to advise their Supporters to shun all forms of violence and key into the Command’s effort in maintaining peace.
