Bobby George who was aspiring for Numan, Demsa Lamurde House of Representatives (HoR) seat of the National Assembly under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, has dumped the party.

Bobby joined the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and was automatically given a waiver and replacement to contest the HoR of the federal constituency as candidate.
He confirmed to TG NEWS his affirmation was successfully done in Numan yesterday amidst a cheering crowd.
The affirmation and induction of George were carried out by the party’s national official, Abubakar Dogara in Numan.
Dogara is the Plateau state SDP Chairman and doubles as the Chairman of all Chairmen of the Party said with Bobby the party is set to win the 2023 election in the Federal constituency.
According to Dogara, there has been a precedent of winning laid down by the party years ago in the area, and it’s going to be a repeat of history with Bobby George as the candidate of the party.
His Adamawa State counterpart Chairman, Mallam Abubakar Yusuf accompanied Dogara to Numan in an entourage of all party supporters amongst others.
They vowed to work as a team to bring success in the way of SDP not only in Numan but in the entire state.
While responding over his switch over to SDP, George reiterated that APC has not been fair to him as an aspirant, and to him staying in the party that can not show justice to its members is nothing to write home about.
He said is coming to the fold of SDP with about 3000 members who are all members of APC cutting across Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde Federal LGAs and mostly youths.
You would recall that George during the last APC primaries complained about the exclusion of his name during the exercise despite following due process of buying a form and successful screening at the party headquarters in Abuja.
This development infuriated Bobby and headed to a court of competent jurisdiction seeking redress.
