Her gestures recently was described as a symbolic milestone; salient, silent, not slow but steady, systematic, strategic, super serious, sensitive and sincere of an achievement by Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, popularly known as Binani representing Adamawa central.
Binani, senator of the All Progressives Congress “APC” representing Adamawa Central senatorial district in the 9th Assembly, has brought another succour to the farmers, women and youths in Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria.
The amazing amazon Aishatu has without bitterness, as a political and household name, procured and flagged off the distribution of 6000 bags of fertilisers and 500 sets of grinding machines to farmers, women and youths in Adamawa State on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
“Senator Binani has no time for foul language, engaging opposition, taken to ethno-religious hate speech, ranting demagoguery assaults against other tribes and/or package unrealistic political propaganda. She has less talk and more work.
“If she must speak, it would have to do with either sponsoring and/or constructively discussing bills at the flow of the house, fluently flawlessly,” Andrew Peter, an electorate would say.
“Senator Binani’s empowerment initiatives are to say the least, beyond listing, beyond comment. This is the second time she’s distributing fertilisers to farmers free of charge when even that supplied by the state government are for sale without subsidy”, an electorate who gave his name as Ibrahim Umar would remark.

SPEECH BY SENATOR AISHATU DAHIRU AHMED (BINANI) AT THE OCCASION OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF 6,000 BAGS OF FERTILIZER AND 500 UNITS OF GRINDING MACHINES TO PEASANT FARMERS AND WOWEN IN ADAMAWA STATE (11th SEPTEMBER, 2021)
The Chairman of the occasion, Mr. P.P Elisha, our father of the day, Alh. Ahmed Mohammad Mustapha, District Head of Yola, Chika Soron Adamawa, our special guest of honor, Alh. Ibrahim Bilal, Chairman Caretaker Committee of the All Progressive Congress, Adamawa State. Members of the state working committee, our major stakeholders, elders and leaders of our party, women and youths, distinguished ladies and gentlemen, gentlemen of the press, you are all most welcome.
It gives me joy and uttermost pleasure this morning of Saturday 11th September, 2021 to once again present to our teaming peasant population of Adamawa State, but especially in Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone free distribution of a total of 6,000 bags of fertilisers at the height of the farming season.
This will no doubt improve both quality and quantity of agricultural products, especially food supply which is crucial to us all.
In a similar vein, we are also distributing 500 grinding machines to youths and women in order to empower them towards self-sustenance.
This will go a long way in providing relief to our unemployed youths and women, whereby they can earn little income to partially solve minor challenges and issues such as medical service and improved living condition.
I urge you to please use these machines yourselves without accepting to sell them out to vendors and middlemen for a token amount.
As your senator and representative in the senate, I have consistently initiated and sponsored bills and motions in the senate on your behalf and indeed all the people of Adamawa State.
Similarly, on several occasions in the last two years, we have provided support in various areas that would empower our people, improve their living condition and improve their agricultural output through the distribution of free fertilisers, as we again gathered here to do today.
I assure you, we shall by the special grace of Allah SWT continue to do more for you in all these areas, so as to ensure you enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Finally, I urge our community leaders from all the various wards here present, to please ensure a just and fair distribution of these items to the selected beneficiaries who are carefully identified by the people of each ward themselves.
I thank you all for finding time to be here despite the very short notice. May Allah in His infinite mercy return each and everyone of us to our various destinations safely.
