The Senator representing Adamawa Northern senatorial district, Ishaku Abbo exposed that Adamawa State Government under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is inflating the contracts amount on the ongoing and completed projects across the state.

Senator Abbo made the exposition after the commissioning of a 3.5Km of the Gyeda Mallam road in Numan which he said it was completed at the cost of 1.3 billion naira by the state government.

Abbo on Friday took to his Facebook official page and condemned the act and described it a thought of no conscience.

“We are constructing a 10.5 kilometers asphaltic Rural Roads in Mubi North via the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for N1.1 Billion. Yes 10.5 kilometers for N1.1Bilion. The roads are;

1. KWA to Betso (phase 1) 3 Kilometers for N290,959, 693. 50 ( about 300Million)

2. KWA to Betso ( Phase 2) 3.5 Kilometers for N345,371, 396.50 ( about 345 Million)

3. Muvur to Chambal a 4 Kilometers road for N396,130,784.54 ( less than 400 Million)

“The total lengths of the roads is 10.5 Kilometers and the total contract sum is N1.1 Billion.

“This is Federal Government projects.

“Adamawa State Government Under Ahmadu Fintiri is constructing a 3.5Km road in Numan for N1.3 Billion.

“Where is our conscience?

“What made these Kleptocrats think they can over inflate contracts and nothing will happen to them?

“We are watching. This too will pass.
