The Senator Representing the Adamawa Northern Zone in the National Assembly, Senator Raymond Kumai Yohanna,has seek for mutual cooperation and understanding with the leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Adamawa state Council in projecting his Programmes and policies for the overall development of the zone.
The Senior legislative Aide to the Distinguished Senator,Dr.Sunday Kwanbuge, gave the indication while interacting with leadership of the union led by the Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan.
The leadership of NUJ was at the Senate to congratulate the Distinguished Senator over the successes recorded so far at the Red Chamber.
Dr.Victor said members of NUJ are dependable partners being a critical stakeholders in social mobilisation, cohesion and public enlightenment.
According to him, embracing the media in the Northern Senatorial Zone Project will help propagating the good ideals and Programmes of the Senator.
He used the forum to announced to the leadership of NUJ that, the Distinguished Senator has just distributed about 3,500 bags of rice to his Constituents to cushion the hardship being faced by the people.
The State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ,Adamawa state Council Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan who was overwhelmed by the red-carpet protocol accorded the union officials assured the Senator of the desired publicity and cooperation.
He urged the Senator to always identified with members of the union when the need arises.
