No fewer than one thousand (1,000) patients from Bare community in Numan LGA of Adamawa State have been treated of various diseases and ailments at Binos Free Medical Outreach on Saturday.
The famous Binos Mobile Hospital, which was stationed at Bare Health Centre, played host to Bare inhabitants who received free medical services which include; surgeries, scanning, consultations and laboratory test among others.
Women, children and the elderly who had issues and challenges with their health status availed themselves to be examined by the medical experts where effective treatments were rendered which they said would go a long way in improving their wellbeing.
Addressing the health-seekers, Senator representing Adamawa South Senatorial District, Senator (Rev.) Binos Dauda Yaroe, said that what moved him to render free medical services to the residents of Bare community was to appreciate their efforts during the last general elections where they saw the need to vote for him for the second time at the Red Chamber to enable him continue presenting people-oriented bills as well as provide the needed dividends of democracy for the betterment of his constituents and development of the State.
Represented by his Campaign Director-General, Mr Katawan Boniface, Senator Binos pointed out that it became imperative for him to reciprocate what his constituents did for him, hence his decision to ensure their wellbeing is enhanced.
According to Senator Binos, the health status of his constituents is one of his topmost priorities, where he described health as wealth.
The People’s Senator said that all the people of Adamawa South are entitled to benefit from all his projects irrespective of their political party differences, adding that the outreach was for all and sundry.
In his words, “I am the representative of all the people in Adamawa South Senatorial Zone, and I’ll ensure all people benefit from all my projects and programmes; whether you are from PDP, APC, SDP or any other political party. We render free medical services without asking people for their political background”.
Addressing Bare inhabitants before the commencement of the free medical services, Medical Team Lead cum Special Assistant (SA) to Senator Binos, Dr. Jama Medan, said that not less than hundred patents were expected to be treated during the one-day outreach, adding that the medical personnel were committed to give out their best to enhancing the livelihoods of the Bare residents via improving their health status.
Jama revealed that the medical experts are carefully selected from renowned hospitals across the country, adding that they would render world-class medical services as expected of them.
The Medical Team Lead noted that all the services being rendered were free-of-charge from start-to-finish, adding that the decision of Senator Binos to provide these medical services was borne out of his love for his constituents.
Jama said that Senator Binos is committed and determined to ensuring his constituents reap the sweet fruits of good representation, adding that what he has done so far is just a tip of the iceberg of the good representation and governance he has in stuck for his constituents.
Also speaking, Bare-based member of Binos Campaign Team, Mrs Rita Harrison, who could not hide her joy, expressed appreciation to Senator Binos Yaroe for embarking on an exercise that would be beneficial to all residents of Bare community irrespective of their political party differences.
A cross section of beneficiaries, who spoke to this reporter, thanked Senator Binos Yaroe for coming to their aid with the provision of free medical services.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Olga James, disclosed that she has been sick for the past ten (10) years, adding that it was at the free medical outreach that she was treated effectively by the medical experts.
Another beneficiary and member of the APC, Mr Yagana Philimon, commended the all inclusive representation and provision of dividends of democracy by Senator Binos Yaroe which paves the way for PDP and non-PDP members to benefit.
According to him, he has been suffering from an ailment as a result of an electric shock beside his ribs which makes breathing difficult for him. “But when Binos Medical Team examined me and gave me some medications, I have started feeling relieve”, he disclosed.
