It was a moment of celebration on Wednesday as the Senator Mohammed Manna-led Reconciliation Committee submitted its final report to the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking the culmination of efforts to unite aggrieved members and reconcile divergent factions within the party.

Constituted late last year, the committee engaged with various political groups and individuals across Adamawa and Abuja, listening to grievances and working to foster a harmonious coexistence under the APC’s umbrella. The report, presented to the state party leadership, outlines the outcomes of these reconciliatory activities and sets the stage for a revitalized APC in Adamawa, which has been in opposition for nearly six years.

The submission is seen as a critical step toward repositioning the party for a stronger performance in the 2027 General Elections. Party leaders expressed confidence that the committee’s work will unify members and enhance the APC’s electoral prospects.
The Reconciliation Committee includes: Sen. Mohammed Manna (Chairman), Sen. Abubakar Girei (Member), Sen. Muhammadu Bello Tukur (Member), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub (Member), Sen. Binta Masi-Garba (Member), Hon. Martin Babale (Member), Dr. Bridget Zidon (Member) and Barr. Isa Baba (Secretary)
With this milestone, the APC in Adamawa is poised to rebuild its strength and rally its base for future political success.
