The Office of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Peace and Security has issued a press release commemorating the International Day of Peace 2024. Comrade Ahmad Lawan, SSA Peace and Security, emphasized the importance of cultivating a culture of peace, as declared by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
This year’s theme, “Cultivating the Culture of Peace,” highlights the need to develop peace as a habit and way of life. The Adamawa state government has made significant strides in maintaining peace and harmony among its citizens, setting it apart from its peers in the North East zone.
