The Divisional Police Officer of Ganye local government of Adamawa State, DSP Muhammed Yahaya Nuhu has bagged an award for excellent conduct and excellent performance.
A press release signed by the image maker of Adamawa State police command, Sulaiman Nguroje said the award was today handed to the DPO by Ganye youths.
According to the statement, the award was given to the police officer at the Gangwari of Ganye palace following the high level of professionalism displayed by the DPO in the course of discharging his duties.
The statement noted that Adamawa State commissioner of police, Audu A Madaki thanked Ganye chiefdom and youths forum for the kind gesture and support they accorded the police, calling on the DPO to maintain the tempo of excellent service and conduct that earned him the award.
The Commissioner of police equally assured all citizens of Adamawa State of adequate security of lives and properties and urged members of the public to continue reporting any suspicious movement around them to the police for immediate response.
