The appointment of Ms Hafsat Abubakar Bakari, the new Director and Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) has elated the Youth of Adamawa State.
The Youth in a statement signed by the President of Adamawa Youth Initiative (AYI), Comrade Salihu Aliyu sent special thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership and appointed Bakari to bring her wealth of experience on board.
The statement said Bakari at this time that President Tinubu is posed to revive the country’s economy is a welcome idea in the right direction to FastTrack the recovery of the Naira to a dollar which is almost depreciating daily.
In the statement, the Youth assured President Tinubu that Bakari is a woman with a difference whose passion and patriotism for the country will not allow her to fail the nation.
While congratulating Ms Hafsat Abubakar Bakari, the Youths enjoined her to serve with diligence and commitment to the ideals of NFIU as a rescuer of the country’s downturn economy.
“We thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing one of our own, lawyers with a vast knowledge of the flow of Finances in and outside the Nigeria financial intelligence unit.
“Ma we are enjoined to serve our dear nation with utter commitment to salvaging the country’s fallen economy and proving that we have a woman who is a good leader. Congratulations Ma.” The statement read
They are hopeful that her pedigree and one of the hardworking staff of NFIU will make the Nigerian Senate approve her appointment by the President.
