The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced an extension of the deadline for the sale of nomination forms to Friday, 16th May, 2026, while introducing a 50% discount for youth aspirants.
The extension provides additional time for young people, aspiring leaders, and other interested party stakeholders to complete their registration processes and fully participate in the party’s internal democratic exercise ahead of the upcoming elections.
In a statement, Balarabe Rufai, National Youth Leader of the ADC, described the move as a deliberate step to promote greater participation by young Nigerians.
“The extension reflects the party’s commitment to openness, inclusion, and creating space for more young voices and fresh ideas under the ADC platform,” Rufai said.
The decision is expected to boost youth involvement in the political process and strengthen the party’s drive to field dynamic and representative candidates. Interested aspirants are advised to take advantage of the extended window and the youth concession to obtain their nomination forms before the new deadline.
