The passage of the bills followed their presentation for third reading by the House Majority Leader Hassan Mamman Barguma on the floor of the house during Wednesday plenary session.
The bills passed into law are that of law to provide for consolidated Administrative Staff Salary Structure for Administration Officers in the State sponsored by Hassan Mamman Barguma of Hong Constituency and that of a law to repeal the Adamawa State Health Insurance Scheme Law number seven of two thousand and eleven and to establish the Adamawa State Health Insurance Agency sponsored by Rufa’I Umar Gombi.
Others are bill for a law to regulate the establishment and Management of Private Schools and that of a law to increase the retirement Years of Teachers of Primary and Secondary schools in Adamawa State sponsored by the Chairman House committee on Education Abdullahi Umar Yapak of Verre Constituency.
After presentation of the four bills for third reading on the floor of the house, Majority Leader of the House Hassan Mamman Barguma Move separate motions for the passage of the bills and seconded by Deputy Leader of the House Abubakar Isa Shelleng.
Thereafter Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa who presided over the session put the motions into voice vote and supported unanimously by all those in attendance during which he directed the clerk of the House to prepare a clean copies bills for Governors assent.
In a related development the House has observed one minute silent honour of Former Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshall Allex Sabundu Badeh and Aminu Ahmed Inuwa Personal Assistant to the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa who died Tuesday.
Meanwhile the House has adjourned its sitting to tomorrow Thursday by ten o’clock in the morning.
The adjournment of the sitting followed a motion raised by the Majority Leader Hassan Mamman Barguma to suspend House Standing order fourteen subsection two to enable the House sit on Thursday and Friday this week
