A bill has passed into law to regulate Staff allowances of board of internal revenue by ADHA

Adamawa State House of Assembly has passed into law a bill for a law to regulate the allowances of staff of Adamawa State Board of Internal Revenue service in the State and make provision for enhanced condition of Services.

The passage of the bill sponsored by Chairman House committee on Finance Hammanjoda Umar Farang followed its presentation for third reading on the floor of the house by the Majority Leader Hassan Mamman Barguma during Monday Plenary session.

Thereafter Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa who presided over the session put the motion into voice vote and supported unanimously by all those in attendance during the sitting in which the Majority Leader of the House Hassan Mamman Barguma move and seconded by member representing Shelleng Abubakar Isa.

Speaker Mijinyawa who presided over the session directed the clerk of the House to Communicate the clean copy of the bill to the Executive arm for Governors ascend.

In a related development the House has considered and adopted the report of its standing committee on Health and Human Services on a bill for a law to repeal the Adamawa State Health Insurance Scheme Law number seven of two thousand and eleven to establish the Adamawa State Health Insurance Agency presented by the committee Chairman Rufa’I Umar Gombi of Gombi Constituency during Mondays plenary session.

According to the findings and observations presented by the Chairman House committee on Health and Human Services the Insurance Scheme is qualitative and affordable Health Care system, citizens should not be compel to pay tax and beneficiaries have access to treatment anytime without any fear of having Money.

Other recommendations presented by the committee chairman stated that all funds realized should be utilized to purchase quality equipment and drugs and there is already existing Adamawa State Health Insurance Agency which was established by law number seven of two thousand and eleven.

After various contributions on the importance of the bill from members representing Verre, Numan, Shelleng, Madagali Constituencies among other lawmakers Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa who presided over the session directed the Chairman House committee on rules and Business to schedule the bill for third reading in any convenient legislative day.
