One of Senator Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako’s loyal aides who has served him in different capacities has passed commendations of confidence that the retired Naval senior officer remains the best man for the Adamawa Central senatorial seat.
The praises of capacity,good records of past representation, bills with lasting and sustainable development strides were said on Nyako by Comrade Kukuya Godwin, his former aide immediately after he has declared his interest to run again for the seat of Senator in the coming 2023 election.
The Monday declaration at APC party office in Yola was well attended by hundreds of his supporters and party leaders.
Kukuya thumbed up to his Boss and described him as a candidate to bid, come 2023, based his reasons for the previous purposeful representation Nyako gave to the people of Adamawa central from 2015 to 2019.
Comrade Godwin who was interviewed by our correspondent said it’s an undeniable fact that Nyako’s antecedents while a Senator at the National Assembly cannot be easily matched.
“He is simply the best thing that could happen not only to the people of Adamawa central, Adamawa State, but North East at large, to say the least.” Godwin said
The aide buttressed his points by highlighting some of the achievements of Sen. Nyako during the 8th Assembly, to have included:
“The Not-too-young to run bill, The North East development commission bill, the presidential inauguration bill, the Nigerian maritime safety regulations bills, Nigerian chartered institute of treasury management bill among others.
According to him Senator Nyako also attracted massive infrastructural development to his constituency such as:
“Construction of three blocks of classrooms at Kala’a, Hong local government, Construction of three blocks of classrooms at Gombi-three, Gombi local government, Construction of a block of three classrooms at Yolde korhi, Rehabilitation and conversion of classrooms to the examination hall, at Karewa day secondary school, Jimeta, Yola, Construction of primary healthcare center, Yola south”
“Construction of earth dam at Karlahi, Fufore local government, constructed over 100 hand bump and 10 solar-powered boreholes and rehabilitated about 76 across the Senatorial district.” Godwin stated
He said the above-mentioned scorecard is convincing enough to give Nyako another clean of a bill to go for the second term bid.
“Aside from these landmarks achievements, Sen. Nyako is an all round leader, who carries everybody along, irrespective of their ethnic, tribal, or religious background. I’m a Christian and a kilba man from Hong. But I bet you, Aziz loves me more than so many people I met together that share the same ethnic and religious background with him. Like he always says, he sees human beings first, whenever their paths crosses his in life.
“He always says that he only knows himself as a Fulani man when he came back to Adamawa State after retiring from the Nigerian navy. That is to tell you how welcoming, balanced, considerate, and tolerant the commander is.
“I’m sure whosoever understands the challenges Nigeria is facing today as a country at the moment, you will understand that only a Man that has the requisite capacity to solve them the people should send to the place of leadership. Nyako is one of such people.
” The red chamber needs him. It is also pertinent to note that his return to the red chamber will earn us a very exalted office being a second-timer with wide contacts, exposure, capacity, will, and the intelligence to represent us well. I tell you, he is simply the best” Kukuya assured
