The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation is taking a bold step to improve Nigeria’s public sector by becoming the Diamond Partner for the first-ever International Civil Service Conference (ICSC), scheduled for June 25–26, 2025, in Abuja.
Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Founded by Aigboje and Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede is a powerful force for change, working to improve lives in Africa through better public services and healthcare.
Working closely with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), the Foundation is helping make Nigeria’s government services better and more effective for everyone.
The ICSC will bring together leaders from across Africa to share innovative ideas and better ways to run governments. This event aims to inspire significant changes to improve service delivery for people across the continent.

As the Diamond Partner, the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation is leading the way to create a top-notch civil service, building on its strong history of making a difference.
The Foundation has already done much to improve Nigeria’s public sector. It helped create the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP25), advocated for digital upgrades, and plans to train 3,000 senior civil servants over the next 10 years to deliver better results for Nigerians.

“The ICSC is an opportunity to spark significant changes in how governments work across Africa.”
The Foundation is working with the Nigerian government to make public services faster, easier, and more reliable. One major focus is training government workers to equip them with the skills they need to perform their jobs better. This will help them serve people more efficiently.
The Foundation is also presenting awards to honor government workers who demonstrate honesty, creativity, and hard work.
The Fund has awarded over ₦50 million to 111 outstanding civil servants, encouraging everyone to strive for excellence
For example, the Emily Aig-Imoukhuede Endowment Fund now offers the Presidential Civil Service Merit Award (₦500,000) and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation EPIC Award (₦250,000).
Since its inception, the Fund has awarded over ₦50 million to 111 outstanding civil servants, encouraging everyone to strive for excellence.
Another significant effort is digitizing government services. This involves using technology to make services easier to access, faster, and clearer for everyone.
It also helps make the government more transparent and accountable.
The Foundation has signed agreements with various government ministries to further spread these digital changes.
The Foundation supports reforms, provides funding, and encourages new ideas to create lasting progress for Nigeria and beyond
The goal is to make Nigeria’s public sector one of the best in Africa. By achieving this, the Foundation hopes to inspire other African countries to improve their governments, creating a brighter future for the continent and its people.
Through programs like ABC Health, PSHAN, and NSSF, the Foundation supports reforms, provides funding, and encourages new ideas to create lasting progress for Nigeria and beyond.
