The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) congratulates Mohammed Ali of Adamawa Television, Yola over his appointment as secretary, Transition Committee, Yola-North Local Area.
A statement made available to TG NEWS by Secretary of the council, Mr Fidelis Jockthan on Wednesday contained that Ali is a well experienced journalist and have the social disposition to give the good service to the people of Adamawa state.
“The appointment as contained in a letter dated 18th January 2022 from the Office of Head of Service, Adamawa State was indeed, a honour well deserved not only to you,but the entire NUJ.
“As a bonafide member of our great union, the state council believes that you will deliver the onerous responsibility excellently considering your intellect, verse experience and social disposition,” the statement said.
The statement said the state council therefore implored him to be good ambassador of the union by demonstrating Justice and fairness in discharging his duties.
The leadership of NUJ equally expressed its profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for identifying with one of its members in that capacity.
“May Almighty Allah guide and protect you through out your tenure.
“Kindly accept the warmest felicitation of the state Chairman Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan and the entire council members,” says the statement.
