The Ambassador of Nigeria to Czech Republic, Ambassador Kevin Peter has assumed office at the Nigerian Embassy at Prague with a promise to strengthen the existing bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Czech Republic.
The Ambassador was received at the Prague Airport on Monday 7th June 2021 in a low key ceremony due to Covid -19 restrictions.
He was later welcomed warmly, by a delegation of the Nigerian community representatives in Czech Republic along with some friends of Nigeria. While addressing the delegation, He siezed the opportunity to once again thank president Munammadu Buhari for appointing him and for his posting to Czech.
Ambassador Kevin, reiterated the need for the Nigerian community to promote decency, adherence to law and order, patriotism and the need to give Nigeria a good name in all their deelings with people and in their daily activities. He promised to do everything within his delegated authority to support them and ensure that the two countries maximize available opportunities for the benefit of their citizens.
Czech Republic has been without a substantive Ambassador from Nigeria for a very long time. Ambassador Kevin Peter is assuming office as Ambassador after many years of vacuum.
