Amin declares intent to contest,promises a people inclusive rep at Nat’l assembly

The immediate past Chairman of Maiha Local Government area (LGA),Alhaji Idi Aminu,who is widely known as Idi Amin declared his intentions to run for Maiha, Mubi North and Mubi South House of Representative at the national Assembly.

Amin who addressed party stakeholders loyalists,and thousands of his supporters from the three LGAs constituting the federal constituency in Mubi Said his representation is going to be a people focused one where they have the total influence as he represents them.

The agog people who were chanting around the streets of Mubi of Idi strides while a chairman of Maiha,crediting his leadership to be of service to humanity than self Said there cannot be any better person than him.

While addressing them, Amin took them down the memory lane of his many contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, an umbrella which he wants to join others contesting in various offices come 2019.

“You all know my contributions to the grow of our party and the development I brought to Maiha LGA while I was the chairman of the area.

” There was not functional electricity in some towns and villages as a result of Boko Haram insurgents activities, but I brought it to life. I revived education of primary schools with teaching and instructional materials, many hospitals were rehabilitated and functioning,I try all my best to see that salaries are paid promptly and as at when due.

“I empowered women, Youths and less privileged students with various empowerment programs. Above all I’m very accessible and available at everyone assignment.

” I’m telling you today that I want you to send me to be your voice at the national assembly, let me be the servant, a loyal one that you have known me right from Adam to defend,protect and voice out your interest.

“I promised you a people inclusive representation, at the national assembly ,im assuring you a delegation with a difference this time around.” Amin Said

He continue to say that,he will work closely with the executive governor of the state, senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow who is working well in changing Adamawa state.

The people who came out in their hundreds to show their support for him cutting across the three LGAs were singing “Change!, Change!!, sai Idi Amin!!!”
