APC Benue State Chapter Praises Media Ties, Vows to Foster Unity

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, the Seven-man Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, led by Benjamin Omale, has expressed gratitude towards members of the Fourth Estate for their support. This gesture was made during a visit from the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council, Comrade Vincent Nyinongu, and other members to the party secretariat in Makurdi.

Omale acknowledged the crucial role of the media in promoting the party’s activities, stating that without their assistance, the APC’s message would not have reached the three senatorial districts in the state. He also pledged an open-door policy to journalists, encouraging them to seek clarification on any issues at any time.

The APC Chieftain highlighted the committee’s achievements, including overseeing the successful and peaceful local government council polls in the state. Caretaker Secretary Professor Bem Angwe revealed plans to visit the 23 local government councils to reconcile aggrieved members and ensure unity within the party.

He further stated that hence we were constituted by The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress Dr Abdullahi Danduje to come and restore normalcy part of the resolution of our mandate was to ensure total new lease of lives in the party where there would be no rancour among party stalwarts butressing we have frame of Six months pointing out am grateful to posite we have just oversee the success to the concluded local Government Councils Polls in the State it was abjuge generally peaceful.

In his speech Chairman of Nigeria Union of journalists Benue State Council Comrade Vincent Nyinongu thank the Caretaker Committee chairman Mr Benjamin Omale and his Exco for the milestone success in just concluded council polls in the State.

He further solicited the assistance of party to uplift the dilapidated structures of the Union also asked the Chairman forward the request for intervention by his Excellency Governor Hyacinth Alia to come to their aid to enable resuscitate entire facilities of the union for instance the Pen College, restaurant and other investment belonging to the union.

It could be recalled that the tussles between Governor Hyacinth Alia and immediate past Chairman of the Party Hon. Austin Agada resulted to installation of seveman Caretaker Committee members instuted by National secretariat early this year
