APC Chairmanship Aspirants Honour Marwa for Support, L’ship in Adamawa

Aspirants seeking the chairmanship positions across local government areas in Adamawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have formally expressed their appreciation to retired General Buba Marwa for his support, guidance, and commitment to grassroots leadership development.

In a letter dated July 6, 2026, and signed by the Secretary of the APC Local Government Council Chairmen Candidates Forum 2026, Comrade Dauda Kushu, the group commended Marwa’s role in encouraging and supporting members of the forum during their political engagements and aspirations.

Addressed to the former military administrator and Chairman of the APC Elders’ Council in Adamawa State, the letter described Marwa’s leadership as a source of inspiration that has strengthened the resolve of the aspirants to promote effective representation, unity, and development at the local government level.

According to the forum, Marwa’s unwavering belief in grassroots leadership and his willingness to stand with aspiring leaders have provided encouragement and motivation to members across the state.

The group noted that his mentorship and support have reinforced their commitment to advancing good governance and fostering development within their respective local government areas.

“We are truly honoured by your commitment to advancing leadership at the grassroots level and your willingness to stand with us during this important phase of our political journey,” the letter stated.

The aspirants further pledged their continued commitment to working in line with the vision of a prosperous society and the ideals of the APC, while expressing gratitude for Marwa’s contributions to the party and the growth of emerging leaders.

The appreciation letter comes amid growing political activities within the APC in Adamawa State as preparations intensify for the forthcoming local government elections and internal party engagements.
