The Lamido Adamawa, His Royal Highness, Dr Muhammadu Aliyu Barkindo Mustapha has approved the conferment of Sa’I Adamawa traditional tittle to Comrade Mustapha Salihu.
Salihu, an All progress congress (APC) headman received the confirmation in a letter addressed to him by the Adamawa Emirate council’s secretary, Alhaji Khakil M Kabiru.
“Consequent to your letter dated 1st June, 2021 I have the honour to convey to you the approval of the Adamawa emirate council to confer on you the traditional title of ‘Sa’I Adamawa”. You are to notify the council when ever you are prepared for the turbaning ceremony.” The letter read
The APC north east former vice-chairman is expected to begin preparation for the turban in the near future.
