APC #Consensus political group endorses Bilal for Adamawa APC Chair

…says is capable than all aspirants

The atmosphere of jostling for the Adamawa state All progressives Congress (APC) Chairman position is tensed up with many vying for the office which is under the caretaker committee chairman of Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal.

The political group which has a vested interest in supporting the activities of APC in the state, #concensus said among those seeking to occupy the office none is having good leadership qualities than Bilal.

The group through its Deputy Chairman, Abubakar Mohammed Turakin Chika Soron Adamawa in an interview granted to this medium in Yola extolled Ibrahim to be a man with an impeccable sense of party politics.

According to him over the years Ibrahim has sustained APC in the state to the extent of rendering PDP, a ruling party to be seen as the opposition party.

“Who else is capable than Bilal among those that I saw their posters being flown in people’s social media pages? I think we have to realize that the work of a state party chairman is sensitive to so many intriguing issues. We are to scout for a Man who has a special interest in the party, a man with enormous experience in party politics, both local and at the state levels. These qualities are found in Bilal.” Abubakar said

Abubakar who is serving as the group’s Chairman on acting capacity said the group which beliefs in APC will not support what is not viable in achieving the target mandate of delivering Adamawa back to APC where it has been.

“We are one hundred percent in support of Bilal’s candidature as a deliverer of the party’s goodwill building to 2023, we believe in this man because we have seen it all in him, a good leader who is willing to salvage the party.

” We do not have the power and the government apparatus is not with the APC in the state, the Man is seen bulldozing ways for the party ahead of 2023, replacing or changing this kind of a leader will not be good for the party overall interest and victories.

“For we in #concensus we are working for him tirelessly, we will support him well in the interest of our dear party in the state.” He said

He however lambasted one A A Lawal Uba who have wrongly accused Bilal of using RIFAN at the detriment of Adamawa citizens.

He urged Uba to have a recall that RIFAN was initially under Steven Maduwa, a PDP stalwart from Michika but corruption petitions filed against him to anti-graft agencies made the federal government to remove him.

He said the new RIFAN is special and having special, capable men void of corruption tendencies Manning the affairs of the organization.

According to him during Maduwa’s time as the Chairman of RIFAN were all sorts of complains by Adamawa citizens was taken the center stage, direct beneficiaries always visiting Media houses lodging their complains how RIFAN under Steven was been bastardize, products were being diverted to market middlemen.

“RIFAN under present leadership is praises they receive all the time because of how good they have been managing the place with no single complain of corruption.

” I think Lawan should ask Steven why was he remove and why the constant visit to ICPC and EFCC? If he is unsound to talk like that, he should be told that Adamawa citizens are more than that and the views of paid Propaganda PDP machines can’t sway them to believe what is not true.

“We in APC are set to remove PDP in power come 2023 and by God’s willing, Bilal is going to be the leading commandant and Captain of the shift that will take Adamawa to a safe haven.” He added
