APC Crisis: Adamawa stakeholders endorse the disciplinary measures taking against party officials

The All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholders in Adamawa have ratified the disciplinary measures taking against the embattled suspended Chairman, Alhaji Bilal Ibrahim and the party secretary, Party treasurer, Dr Raymond Chidama, Yaya Hamanjulde respectively.

The stakeholders who are about 23 in a letter of press release signed supporting the decision of the party officials against the trio of Bilal, Raymond and Yaya are legal.

According to them, they converged in Yola to address issues that are key and relevant in rescuing and sanitizing the leadership of their great Party the, APC.

“As concerned critical stakeholders of the party, we have overtime being following the course of events in the running of the affairs of the party under the leadership of Alh. Ibrahim Bilal as the State Chairman of the APC in Adamawa State.

“On a good account too, we as committed stakeholders and devoted progressives have interacted with the leadership of the party and have studied all the allegations leveled against the trio of Alh. Ibrahim Bilal (State Chairman), Dr. Raymond Chidama (State Secretary) and Hon. Yahya Hammanjulde (State Treasurer) and the procedures adopted under articles 21.2 and 21.3 of the APC Constitution (As Amended 26th March, 2022) which provides for offences and disciplinary procedures for party officials.

“We are of firm conviction that the disciplinary pronouncements made against Alh. Ibrahim Bilal as the State Chairman are legal, lawful and constitutional and same is accepted and supported by the stakeholders of the APC from top to bottom as a giant step in rescuing the party in Adamawa State.

“In view of the above, we wish to appeal to the disciplinary committee to expedite action against the duo of the State Secretary and the State Treasurer whom perhaps are ready to answer the questions against them.

“In conclusion, we wish to call on all our party members at all levels to rally support for the Acting State Chairman Hon. Baba Ismaila Tadawus and to keep faith with this worthwhile progressive reformation of our great party, once more ladies and gentlemen thank you.” The statement read
