APC Expels Rauf Aregbesola Over Anti-Party Activities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially expelled former Interior Minister and ex-Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola from the party due to alleged anti-party activities.

This decision comes after a long-standing rift between Aregbesola’s Omoluabi caucus and the Osun State chapter of the APC. The party’s state executive committee issued a letter to Aregbesola, informing him of his expulsion and citing breaches of Article 21 of the APC Constitution.

Aregbesola had recently shown support for his loyalists’ decision to leave the APC, which was announced during a meeting in Ilesa on Sunday.
