APC Lawmaker Commends Hitch Free Ward Congresses In Shelleng

The Member Representing Shelleng in the Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Abubakar Isa of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has commended the party stakeholders for ensuring
hitch-free ward congress held in Shelleng and other Local Government Areas in Adamawa on Saturday.

Hon. Abubakar Isa, who is serving for the second time as Member Representing Shelleng Constituency from 2015-2019 and 2019-2023 on the platform of APC, stated this while speaking with Journalists shortly after monitoring the conduct of the exercise at Shelleng.

The Lawmaker who is the Marafa Shelleng specifically commended the Mai Mala Buni led APC National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, State Acting Committee under Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal and that of Shelleng Local Government Headed by Alhaji Yawale Tela among others.

He said that reports from various political wards monitored in his constituency indicated that each conducted free, fair and credible ward executives, local and state delegates Congresses.

According to him, APC has conducted credible congress that serve as example to other political parties and that the party faithfuls accepted the outcome without any dissenting voice.

The Party Chieftain added that the congress was done rancour-free describing it as internal democracy and people-oriented party leadership in action and commended the party faithfuls who showed unity of purpose.

Marafan Shelleng charged the newly elected APC executive of the various wards in the area to build on the unity and mobilise the entire local government for the party come 2023.
