In preparation of Saturday’s of National convention of All Progressives Congress (APC) Party,the Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow while addressing the delegates from the State called on them to votes for consensus candidates.
According to him concensus is one of the ideals principles of APC,enshrined in the party’s constitution that party members should reach a compromise on issues of elections and voting.
He however told them that they are not under a compulsory or compulsive orth to votes base on consensus but is an agreement decided by the 24 APC Governors to go by the Party’s constitution.
He continue to say that any candidate that cannot agree on the concesus arrangement is free to enter for the election.
While responding to press men at the Maitama Adamawa Lodge he appreciate them for them for coming around to make APC a stronger party which can Span through many decades to come.
“I specially want to thank you all for coming around to vote our party leaders that will be credible to bring President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. Please don’t forgive you are Adamawa ambassadors,show the world the good character of in our people.
” And my elders who despite their age they came around to give me the normal support that they have being given me.” Bindow Said
Bindow who is also being mandated to supervise the delegates screening of Taraba State syster of the Party,he vowed to make sure that the right delegates are screened.
