Politicians from the North West geopolitical zone have made a passionate appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) critical stakeholders, and senior founding members and leaders of thoughts across the country to consider the immediate past Secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Barr Boss Mustapha in trying to reposition the party of who becomes the next party national chairman.
The politicians who are mostly Youths cut across the entire north west in a press conference in Sokoto on Friday said they consulted and made much deeper inquiries on who is most qualified to pilot the affairs of the party to a safer destiny, and discovered Boss has the most needed requirements in terms of experience, party cohesion and love for the country’s corporate unity.
Abdullahi Isa Shagari as the leader of the North-west Youths democracy emancipation forum during the press conference told journalists that their call is without bias but has a much sentiment on who is most capable and can bring Nigeria together through the APC Party formation.
Shagari maintained that there is a looming crisis in the APC party that requires a Man with full of wisdom like Boss Mustapha to save the situation when the stitches are done on time.
He said they are making an urgent call that need timely intervention as party faithful, loyal men and women who believe so much in the party manifestos.
“Our party can not afford to miss the target with the availability of the opportunity to correct the abnormalities. To get the right thing done, after much consultation, Boss Mustapha is the Man we fingered the party can strategically use at this time when a sensitive decision of this nature is about to be taken on the party that is going to have an overall reflection on nation-building. ” Shagari said
The group’s secretary, Mr Dan Marcus shaded more light on the press conference with a call to all APC opinion leaders in the North West to know that their motive is not to fight anyone from the zone wanting to be the APC national chairman.
He said they desiring to see APC becoming the biggest political party not only in Africa but in the whole world.” And only a Man with good leadership can do that
And to achieve this, Dan reiterated a call to support Boss Mustapha as he has all that it takes to take APC and all party members to greener pastures.
He extolled Mustapha to be a Man with a pool of knowledge when it comes to party leadership, and nation-building and with a high sense of fair play to all classes of people.
Dan explained that it takes a Man with a God-fearing character to work perfectly with unblemished records of over six years of work in the office of the SGF.
According to him, all APC members will be okay with him piloting the affairs of the party. And the party will have unprecedented growth and the unity of the party will be consolidated because he is a master strategist.
“Boss will emancipate the party from the bondage of crisis and black lashes of party poor leadership. We believe in him and discovered him a trusted Nigeria that can achieve something tangible for our great party.” Dan said
