The North East Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress,APC,Comrade Mustapha Salihu have endorsed Alhaji Ahmed Lawan for National Secretary of the Party.
Salihu made the revelation today at Yola international airport while receiving the National Leader of the Party,Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is in Yola to witness the wedding Fatiha of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu’s sons.
Comrade Salihu while lifting up of Lawan’s hands amidst cheering party supporters in a show of endorsement said Ahmed is a good Man and can do well for the party.
Comrade Salihu however said Ahmed must first of all resign from the current office of the State organizing secretary of the party in Adamawa state he occupies.
In his response, Lawal said his firm decision to aspire for the national office is because of the party’s manifesto of serving people without sentiments.
He further said that he will north disappoint Nigerians,especially party members of giving his best in making sure the party remains an unbeatable national party in ages to come.
While appreciating Salihu he assured him of selfless service that he will be proud of if he emerge the winner in the coming party national congress.
“North east vice Chairman is from my zone and know my capability,for him to endorse me is an indication of trust and believe in me to work for the overall interest of the party.
“Thank you my comrade for the trust and endorsement today,i’m now anointed for victory.” Lawan said
