APC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY: Gov Bindow, congratulates President Buhari.

The Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, has expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the APC Presidential result of Adamawa State that saw the sole aspirant, Muhammadu Buhari, scoring 263,945 votes.

In his reaction to the result that was declared by the returning officer, Alhaji Abdulrahaman, Governor Jibrilla said he is sending his heartfelt congratulations to the winner, President Muhammadu Buhari.

He noted that the massive turn out of voters and peaceful conduct was a reflection of what to expect during the governorship primary election set for Sunday and election of candidates for National/State Houses of Assemblies that were slated for next week.

Sen Jibrilla commended party officials, security agencies as well as the media for their various roles in ensuring that a politically convivial atmosphere prevailed during elections, across the 21 local government areas of the State.

Sen Jibrilla therefore called on the people of Adamawa State and all Nigerians of voting age to excercise their franchise at the forth coming presidential polls by voting for President Muhammadu Buhari so that he can consolidate on the gains the APC-led government has recorded in the last three years.
