The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow met with over 2000 delegates from the central senatorial zone of the state.
The meeting which held at Ribadu square sunday evening with all the appointed and elected political office holders of the zone,the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC), Aspirants and many supporters of the Bindow’s led adminstration,in an effort to solicit their votes for the coming governorship primaries.
While addressing thousands of the delegates who Long for his words, he reminded them that they were elected as delegates because the APC party want them to vote. He assured them that no body will temper with the Party structure in the state.
He further emphssised that President Muhammadu Buhari is with them,thanking them for believing in APC and holding the Party structure from unit to state level. According to him the delegates deserve to be appreciated in no small measure.
Bindow called on them to remain calm and prepare for Buhari’s direct primaries coming up on Thursday this week.
“In Adamawa state we are going for Buhari direct primaries on Thursday, 27th Sept.I want you to come out enmasse to vote for him. But in the other primaries the stakeholders in the state agreed we go for indirect because that will serve the interest of every card carrying member of our Party.
” I want you to know that no body is afraid of direct or indirect primaries,but we only want the best for you, the elected you because they want you to participate in the electioneering process of our party,so nobody should deceive you,we as a State we are going for direct primaries. ” Jibrilla said
Umaru continue to say that he fulfill the promises made in 2015,as during campaigns electorates were specifics on their demands, and their demands are being met on winner the elections with over 390 roads and 403 primary health clinics operating 24 hours.
“I’m begging you once again to make me the flagbearer of our Party,if you do on winning the elections I will triple my performances to the people of Adamawa state.” He said
” We want to justify why we elected you by allowing a fair playing level ground for all aspirants by contacting you to decide candidates of our great Party for the 2019 general elections.” Bindow added
The delegates in their affirmative responses while Bindow was talking was “we endorsed for 2019 continuity of the good Works you have started”
