The All Progressives Congress (APC) party in Adamawa state reconciliation has yielded positive outcome as national and local committees were formed to face the forthcoming LGAs elections in the state.
The Secretary to Government of the Federation, Barr Boss Gidahyel Mustapha,Minister of Federal Capital territory (FCT), Mallam Mohammed Bello, former Governor of the state, Senator Mohammadu Jibrilla Bindo, Mallam Nuhu Riba,and Dr Halilu Modi formed the strategy team and committee to consolidate reconciliation at the national level.
The reconciliation has further made a deliberate committee under the Chairmanship of former minister of interior,Alhaji Abdulrahaman Adamu,Sen Ahmed Barata,Sen Binta Garba Masi,Alhaji Dahiru Bobboi,all APC House of representatives,APC state House of Assembly members,for deputy Governor MC Tahir,Babangida Jibrilla and other notable party chieftains to consolidate reconciliation at the grassroots level.
The committee last weekend had a meeting at Lelewal Hotel where they resolved to oversee and supervise the conduct and process of party’s primaries to bring consensus and credible candidates to headlong face the forth coming LGAs election.
Other mandate of the committee are to facilitate for a reconciliation of all party ill felt or ill treated members and loyalist who at one time or the other hurt or marginalised most especially during the 2019 general election.
The mediation is expected to meet the people at state,Local Government and down to the ward levels who are the grassroots people that have the major votes.
