The immediate past Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the only party in Nigeria, as there can not be any other than the ruling party in the country.
Jibrilla said this in Yola on his way for the party’s registration and revalidation exercise scheduled to commence tomorrow across the country.
Bindow reiterated this when he paid a courtesy call to Nash Radio, a newly established Radio station by Halilu Modi in More hills in Yola.
The former Governor also dispelled and distanced himself from the rumors making around town that he has plans to defect to PDP.
While refuting the rumors Muhammadu said:
“I just heard it from you, I am the second person among the critical stakeholders to join APC in Adamawa when APC was created, our father HE Murtala Nyako is the first, Behold do we have any party in Nigeria apart from APC?”
He further said he has set for his membership card revalidation of APC in his 001 unit, Kolere ward of Mubi North Local Government of the state.
He enjoined his followers to come out en mass for registration and to renew their membership as APC is the party to beat in 2023.
He commended the management and the owner of the Radio, said that the Radio is belongs to the people of Adamawa state despite the fact that is his “Younger Brother” that owned it.
