The timetable also details election appeal windows and other preparatory activities designed to ensure smooth and orderly conduct of the party’s internal democratic processes.

In addition to the timeline, the APC announced fees for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.

For the Governorship position, the total fee stands at ₦50,000,000 (Fifty Million Naira), comprising ₦10 million for Expression of Interest and ₦40 million for Nomination. The Presidential ticket is pegged at ₦100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira).

Special concessions have been made for female aspirants, youth, and physically challenged aspirants, who are required to pay only the Expression of Interest fee plus 50% of the prescribed Nomination fee for their respective positions.

In a press statement accompanying the release, the APC reassured members, stakeholders, and the Nigerian public of its unwavering commitment to credible, transparent, and inclusive primary elections. The party emphasized that the timetable is crafted to deepen internal democracy and consolidate its progressive ideals ahead of the 2027 polls.

“These guidelines reflect our determination to conduct a fair process that allows qualified and committed individuals to emerge as standard-bearers based on merit, popularity, and vision,” the statement noted.

The APC has urged all interested members to obtain further details from the Directorate of Organisation.
