The screening committee of the All Progressives Congress has cleared Senatorial aspirant, Abdulrahman Buba Kwacham, to participate in the party’s primary election for the Adamawa North Senatorial District.

The development followed his appearance before the party’s screening panel, where he was asked to “take a bow” after responding to questions and presenting the required documents.
Party sources explained that the phrase “take a bow” signifies that the aspirant had satisfactorily appeared before the committee, answered necessary questions, and was formally excused after meeting the screening requirements.
The committee was said to have thoroughly examined his credentials, party loyalty, financial records, and legal status, including confirmation that there were no pending court cases or issues capable of affecting his eligibility.
With the clearance, Kwacham’s name will now proceed to the APC senatorial primary election, where the party is expected to select its candidate for the Adamawa North Senatorial District ahead of the next general election.
The APC is expected to conduct its primary election immediately after the completion of the screening exercise to determine candidates for various elective positions.
