A former All Progressives Congress, APC, Zonal Organizing Secretary for South South, Chief Paul Agbebia Obi said both Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate and the APC Presidential candidate, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu are expired products and failed politicians.
Paul who was also a member of National executives Council (NEC) during the Oyegun led administration took a wipe on the two leading presidential aspirants and described them Political Leaders after getting all support they turned and consume Nigerians after feeding them.
“As a Nation we supposed to Create Our Collective fate, but it’s unfortunately we take side with those who are not good leaders. When the economy fails we go to Churches and start praying- I’m glad such Prayers have No answers.” Paul said
He worried that small countries like Jordan have economically gone far than Nigeria despite being a desert country with no single mineral sources in commercial quantity.
He said good leadership is what stand Jordan out, blasted APC and PDP as the main problem of Nigeria.
“I thought what I saw in North America was because they are high up there, look at Jordan, No sea port, No Oil and Gas, No Gold, they run a Stable Economy with the Dinar stronger than the Dollar.
“The only thing they have is good leadership. The Minimum Wage a Security Man takes home in Jordan in two days Can pay a Director for a Month in Our States and Nation, we have been made slaves and we Love it.
“We buy fuel at 400 naira per litre and some people still sign and take Subsidy for same litre. If we actually know what is good, we will even go out and end Nigeria on the 25th and not discuss elections, but we seem to have accepted our fate. Am worried about Nigeria. If BAT wins or Atiku, either of them will still be part of the corrupt process. We have messed up both as a People and a Government from 1999-date.
“Atiku, Tinubu all run Refineries abroad and Shipping lines, they benefited from Crude Oil frauds, the greatest fraud on earth, yet we worry ourselves discussing about our Collective enemies. Like I said earlier, we are slaves who have accept their fate, I take exception to it anyway. It’s like seeing how Unfortunate Tinubu is Now
“We in APC are marketing an expired product not minding how it will affect the Consumers, PDP marketing a tired politician.” Said Paul
Paul views were extracted from a Whatsapp heated debate on a Cross River tribal group between him and an APC gubernatorial aspirant, Mr. John Upan Odey where Paul continued to say that:
“I will end by saying we will Create this fate together and bear the Karma. For my people in APC, nobody is more APC than me. Am supporting All APC Candidates and also join in the daftness of supporting Tinubu so am Loyal.”
In trying to put on a defense for the party and its candidates, Mr Upan replied by calling on Paul to resign his membership it APC is not giving him what he wants as a politician.
Upan accused Paul for attacking Atiku and Tinubu but didn’t say any single word against Peter Obi, the Labor Party Presidential candidate.
“So since we are all slaves why not break the chains by first resigning your appointment in government and leaving the APC? You have said Atiku and BAT are no good, you said nothing about Obi. Why not pick a candidate you believe in and throw your support behind him? I believe that is the right thing to do. He who see’s shackles on his hands and does nothing to shirk them is more dangerous to society than he who see’s no shackles.” Upan said
Paul however replied that he will rather die in APC than leaving or resigning from the party but remain in the party to be a patriotic in voicing out the voice of the voiceless.
“I’m as Daft as you are, just the same way we all enjoy the Nation. So why should I Resign or leave APC? I’m Supporting Prince Otu , the Governor for Senate and Legor for Reps. We are Cursed to say Nothing wrong in all the wrong situations. So why should I do something different?
“Sorry, I’m use to using the word “Daft” in describing Political Party Loyalty. But something is Wrong. Since we all are not ready, we wait for the day the House will Collapse on us.
“We have no option of voting saints at elections, we vote human beings who have emerged from the political assembly line called political parties. I will not vouch for any politician from experience but I believe in political evolution. When we stood against the tyranny of the PDP many ran there for perks, now we want to support our political identities and get rewarded with a blanket christening of slaves.
Upan deconstructed Paul’s submission by saying that if he tell him Tinubu is best APC had. He would have adjudged that he is right in his thinking because that is how much he understand the whole scenario. And voting Tinubu is his final decision he since made for the coming election.
“Well I am not daft, politics is an all comers affair but hypocrisy is a bigger crime than complacency on the moral lexicon Paul.
“Everyone here has the right to be inclined to a party and to a candidate of their choice. You’re right. However, I have sounded it here and again, I will. This is not a campaign space. As much as no-one has the right to determine your political affiliation and conviction, you equally do not have the right to do so to others.
“There must be mutual respect. I had noted that any harsh argumentation because of politics will be thrown out. Please, be guided!
“Me and you were involved in 2015. What did PDP/GEJ did to attract that much hatred that Our APC has not done? We have stolen more, Security Collapsed, Economy failed, more than 100 percent changes in Prices of goods and services, tribalism in all spheres, we have paid false Subsidy 300 percent higher than PDP. Then first as Nigerians why do U think we should not hate the APC FG/Presidency ? Rem am voting for APC top to bottom.” Upan chided Paul
