In a statement signed by Hon. Hussaini Ahmadu Har, Director of Media and Publicity for the Forum, the group commended the exemplary leadership of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as an outstanding steward of the APC in Adamawa and beyond.

The Forum highlighted its commitment to fostering unity, peace, growth, and human development within the party, both in Adamawa and across Nigeria.

The statement revealed that following the 2023 General Elections, the APC faced risks of disintegration in Adamawa.

In response, the Forum, after extensive consultations with stakeholders, established the Adamawa APC Unity Forum and the APC Reconciliatory Committee, led by respected elder statesman Senator Muhammad Mana. The initiative received endorsements from key party figures, including Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Vice Chairman Comrade Mustapha Salihu, and State Party Chairman Barrister Idris Shuaibu.

Through a series of meetings, engagements, and outreach efforts, the Reconciliatory Committee successfully addressed internal challenges, exceeding expectations and restoring harmony within the party.

The Forum attributed this success to the invaluable support and guidance of Alhaji Mohammed Sadiq, the Walin Ganye and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “We pray for his long life and sound health as he continues to contribute to the growth of democracy in our great party,” the statement read.

The Forum also extended appreciation to Alhaji Modibbo Mohammed Gidado, MD, for his selfless and impactful support during the formative and operational stages of the initiative.
