Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s Unit 1, Ward 8, Ilesa, in the Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State has been won by the ruling All Progressives Congress.
This is even as the former Osun State Governor and current Minister of Interior shunned the exercise.
The APC polled 164 votes to defeat the PDP which scored 134 votes.
TG News earlier reported that Aregbesola’s media aide, Sola Fasure, told newsmen that the minister stayed away from the election to avoid any crisis.
