The battle of power supremacy, a fight of who becomes the Governor of Adamawa State has finally decided by an apex court, A supreme court in Abuja laid all legal fight to rest.
The legal battle from the elections controversies of declaring the winner of the 2023 Governorship, to Tribunal, appeal court and finally to the supreme Court was a tough one.
The Gubernatorial candidates of both P PDP, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the APC, Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani had it tough and restless.
The General news (Tgnews) extolled Governor Fintiri a hero who fought a good fight through the backings of the Adamawa electorates as the supreme Court have finally ratified that the declaration of INEC of his status as the dully governor elected.
The online medium in a statement signed by its Chief Publisher, Tom Garba congratulated Fintiri for the journey of victory he embarked in the interest of the people of Adamawa in the last six months.
Tgnews in the statement reiterated that today Supreme Court’s judgment spoke in clear terms justice can be given for the deserved and the judges were blind to give the judgment without fear or favor.
The medium however called on the Governor to extend his hand of Friendship to all non PDP and perceived political enemies and settle down to work as is being noticed.
“Congratulations Sir, on this landslide rising and victory of your political journey we enjoined you to work all through your days in office and break the jinx of under development in the State.
“Forgive and forget, invite and embrace even your perceived political enemies. It is just a time to settle down for work, to give governance as the constitution of Nigeria enshrined – giving in total to all people irrespective of party, tribe or religion background.
