A devastating Iranian missile strike has killed four people and left a small Arab town in northern Israel reeling. The attack has not only caused widespread destruction but also highlighted the vulnerability of Israel’s Arab minority.

Hundreds of residents gathered to mourn the victims, with Raja Khatib, who lost his wife, two daughters, and sister-in-law, expressing his anguish: “I wish to myself, if only the missile would have hit me as well.” The strike has sparked concerns about unequal protections for Arab communities, with many pointing to limited access to public shelters.
This incident is part of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, which has resulted in at least 24 deaths and hundreds of injuries in Israel. Iran’s ballistic missiles have proven to be devastating, with some projectiles capable of destroying entire city blocks. The international community has called for de-escalation, but neither side shows signs of backing down.
The conflict has also raised questions about discrimination within Israel, with Arab citizens often facing unequal access to resources and protection. Ayman Odeh, an Israeli parliamentarian of Palestinian descent, noted that “the state still distinguishes between blood and blood,” highlighting the need for greater support and protection for Arab communities.
