I heartily felicitate with all Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Kabir.
As you mark this year’s sallah, may God in His infinite mercy bless you and the entire country with serenity.
Evidently this year’s Sallah came in the midst of the global pandemic caused by coronavirus which has impeded the way the celebration is characterized by visitation and socialization. May we all continue to pray to God for permanent solution to the pandemic and all other challenges including insecurity, violent conflicts and corruption that are bedeviling our country.
I use this medium to call on all clerics of all religions to continue to preach peace, tolerance, unity and religious harmony.
