Mr.Atali Samson has today taken over the mantle of leadership as the new state coordinator of the National youths service corps, Adamawa state.
The handover ceremony took place at the NYSC state secretariat, 2nd floor at the federal secretariat complex, jimeta Yola.
Mr. Atali happen to be the 21st chief executive of the scheme as he succeeds Mal.Muhammed lawan Ahmed, who successfully served as the 20th.
Mr. Ateli upon his posting as the 21st(new) SC, Adamawa state serverd as the deputy director corps members welfare and health service department NYSC headquarters Abuja.
Mal. Muhammad in his farewell speech appreciated all the staff and members of the scheme for their cooperation, understanding, loyalty and dedication to duty thoroughout his stewardship.
He stated that their hard work was not only central to the numerous achievements recorded, but is also pivotal to the hitch-free tenure he enjoyed.
He appealed to the staff to extend even more support to the new state coordinator, whom he described as a seasoned administrator.
He further express confidence in the members and staff to the new state coordinator.
“ I am handing over a competent, loyal and hardworking team members and staff to you”.
Mr. Atali congratulated his predecessor, Mal. Muhammad lawan Ahmed for a successful stewardship and commended him for the achievements made.
He promise to build on those achievements and break new grounds. He stated that the security and welfare of corps members is one of his topmost priorities as well as that of the staff members.
“We have to take care of ourselves so we would be able to take care of the corps members as well “ Atali stated.
Highlights of the ceremony were presentation of gifts to the outgoing state coordinator who has been posted to zamfara state as the chief executive of the scheme in the state, group photograph and prayer.
