Former Vice President and 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated the Archbishop of the Province of Jos and Bishop of Yola, Most Rev. Markus . Ibrahim Anfani, on his 60th birthday and the authorship of three significant books: Consider Others, Man’s Impossibility, God’s Possibility, and I Will Build My Church.
Represented by Senator Ishaku Abbo at a celebratory event in Yola, Adamawa State, Atiku lauded the cleric’s contributions to faith, leadership, and societal progress.
Speaking at the Anglican Church headquarters in Yola, Senator Abbo conveyed Atiku’s admiration for Archbishop Ibrahim’s lifelong dedication to serving God and humanity. “His Excellency Atiku Abubakar celebrates the Most Rev. Markus Ibrahim Anfani for reaching this milestone and for his profound literary contributions.
“These books reflect his deep insights drawn from decades of pastoral experience,” Abbo said. He added Atiku’s prayers for the Archbishop’s good health and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and beyond.
The three books, which explore themes of empathy, divine possibility, and church-building, have been hailed as a testament to Ibrahim’s spiritual and intellectual legacy. Atiku noted that the works offer valuable guidance for fostering unity and progress in society.
